Objective

Provide highly qualified technical resources to the Application Managed Services department of Broadcom (CA Technologies) for supporting operations of Broadcom clients

Solution

We have provided during the last 7 years highly qualified technical resources to the Application Managed Services department of Broadcom. The major part of our resources worked as CA PPM (Project and Portfolio Management) and APM (Application Performance Management) AMS consultants, following the best practices of the Broadcom Support for CA products. We delivered successful support services for several CA clients including Level 1, Level 2 support tickets and technical leadership activities.

Achievements

We have successfully supported clients with different levels of complexity, from basic implementations to highly-complex ones from both on-premise and on-demand delivery models. We provided support on all the modules and functionalities available in CA PPM and successfully addressed the most atypical types of issues, including the escalation of complex issues to the development product team. We were responsible for:

• Perform general system administration tasks, such as: User administration, resources setup, reporting, answering functional and technical questions and addressing general user inquiries.
• Troubleshooting CA PPM issues related to: general configuration, processes, security, time-entry, reporting, data management and integrations, financials, transactions, MS Project integrations, and any other available feature, module or functionality of CA PPM.
• Resolution of complex issues including GEL scripting, XOG (XML Open Gateway), SQL, integrations with other systems.
• Working with internal CA Departments such as CA Support, CA Hosting and CA Global Delivery towards the resolution of complex issues.
